How to Compare Pilates Equipment Quotations

Compare quotations only after the model, included accessories, quantity, packing basis and destination are aligned. A lower unit price can still represent a different scope.

The short answer

Put every offer into the same table and compare the exact configuration, included components, commercial terms, logistics and written warranty. Do not compare one supplier's base machine with another supplier's fully equipped model.

Seven fields to compare line by line

  1. Model identity: model name or reference, frame material and finish.
  2. Dimensions and weight: assembled size, net weight, packed size and gross weight.
  3. Included parts: springs, foot bar, bars, straps, loops, upholstery and accessories.
  4. Quantity and selling unit: whether the price is per set, piece, unit or batch.
  5. Commercial basis: currency, validity date, payment schedule and trade term.
  6. Logistics: origin, named destination, included charges and excluded charges.
  7. Service terms: warranty period, covered parts, exclusions, spare-part process and lead time.

Why headline price is not enough

A quotation can exclude packing protection, destination handling, customs, unloading or a second package. Another offer can include more springs or accessories, use a different construction, or state a different warranty. The comparison should show what is inside each scope before comparing the final amount.

A practical comparison request

Ask each supplier to restate the selected model, quantity, unit price, included parts, packed dimensions, gross weight, delivery basis, excluded costs, lead time and warranty. Then use the same list for both offers.
